Prayer For Husbands

Almighty God, I honor, praise, and magnify your Holy name. You are indeed a faithful Father and I give you all the glory!

Father, I have come to petition your throne on behalf of husbands everywhere.

You said from the beginning that it is not good for man to be alone, so you ordained marriage and established the man as the head of the home and the wife as his helpmeet.

Lord, your word says that marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled, and in this covenant, you anointed and appointed husbands to be priests, providers, and protectors of their families.

So today Father, I present husbands to you and pray that you touch them in a supernatural and extraordinary way.

Pour out your Spirit upon them Lord, especially in these difficult and trying times.

I pray that you bless the work of their hands. Give them the resources that they need to adequately provide for their families.

As you blessed Solomon with wisdom, give husbands the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to lead and guide their families, and to be Godly examples to their children and their entire household.

I know Lord, that there are many challenges that are facing the husbands today, and I realize that without your intervention in their lives many of them will be destroyed by the enemy, but by the power of God, I declare that no weapon that is formed against them shall prosper in Jesus’ name.

I pray Father that you cause husbands to arise and take their rightful positions as the leaders that you created and called them to be.

Anoint them with fresh oil so that they will lead their families according to your divine will and purpose.

Ephesians 5 verse 25 commands husbands to love their wives, even as Christ loved the church, and gave Himself for it.

So Lord, touch the hearts of the husbands that have lost the love and respect for their wives. Let the fire of love be rekindled again in their hearts and cause them to love, honor, and cherish their wives as never before.

Your Word says that husbands should cleave to their wives and they both shall be one flesh.

I declare that nothing that you have joined together shall be put asunder by the enemy, and every plan, plot, and scheme devised against marriages are destroyed now in the name of Jesus.

Father, cause unity, compassion, and understanding to prevail in marriages, and as 1 Peter 3 verse 7 declares,  teach husbands to dwell with their wives according to knowledge,  giving honor unto them, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life.

Cause husbands to lead lives of integrity, loyalty, righteousness, and honor.

I rebuke every Jezebel spirit that seeks to manipulate and lure husbands away from their wives and families.

Give husbands the grace Oh Lord, to remain faithful to their wives and loyal to their families.

And as you bless the husbands, Lord, raise up Godly wives that will pray for and support their husbands so that your perfect ‘WILL’ will be done in, and through them.

I thank you, Father, that the hearts and lives of husbands are being transformed by your mighty power, and that marriages and families are being healed and restored right now, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
